Brief Introduction:

With work experience in the both the public & private health sector, a medical doctor with an MD in Community Medicine. Joined ICMR as a Scientist-E (Medical) from May 2021. Previously worked as an Assistant Professor in DM WIMS, Wayanad, was formerly the Technical Expert - Epidemiology & Project Lead in a Govt. of India project in AMCHSS, SCTIMST Trivandrum, to set up a Regional Technical Resource Centre for Health Technology Assessment. Also worked as an Assistant Professor - Epidemiologist in Government Medical College Palakkad, and currently pursuing a PhD in SCTIMST Trivandrum as well. Prior to obtaining the MD degree, worked for the Health Services Department, Govt. of Kerala, as an Assistant Surgeon, in varying capacities ranging from the PHC to the District Level. Other areas of interest include Qualitative Research, Health Economics, Public Health Ethics, Health Policy and Systems Research.
