 Brief Introduction:

Dr. Vikas Dhikav did his MBBS training from PGIMS, Rohtak and postgraduate training in pharmacology from AIIMS Delhi. He obtained his PhD (Neurology) from PGIMER & Dr. RML Hospital under IP University, Delhi, working on hippocampal volumetry in Alzheimer’s dementia using Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the brain. Vikas Dhikav has presented his work both nationally, and in international conferences. Dr Dhikav has worked in cognitive neurology after obtaining PhD and has served in ICMR Hq, New Delhi as a consultant. He has been visiting faculty in pharmacology in various Chinese, Nepalese, Ukrainian, and Russian Universities and has been conferred Honorary Doctorate (Degree of Honorary Professor) in recognition of his achievements. He has been among most productive authors in the field of dementia research in India and his work on Yoga has been cited widely. Dr. Dhikav is currently working in the area of mental health to address implementation gaps and reduce disease burden.
