 Brief Introduction:

Dr. Vishal Singh is currently working as Scientist – B at ICMR-NIIRNCD, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He has completed his Ph.D. (2021) in the field of Biochemistry and his research majorly focused on nanobiotechnology. Dr. Vishal Singh has six years of research experience in the field of developing nanotherapeutics and nano-delivery systems for drugs/siRNA for the management of various non-communicable diseases. He has received various fellowship awards during his research career that includes an ICMR-Junior Research Fellowship, M.K Bhan Fellowship, and Eyes High Postdoctoral Match-Funding Fellowship at UCalgary, Canada. Currently, he is focused on assessing the impact of air pollution on respiratory health and determining the dynamics of zoonotic disease transmission under the One-Health approach.

 Academic Qualifications & Training:

1. B.Sc.  in Biochemistry-Honours from Panjab University, Chandigarh. 
2. M.Sc. in Biochemistry-Honours from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
3. Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Panjab University, Chandigarh and National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, Mohali.
